The experience of raising a child with and living with Tourette Syndrome (TS) is often bewildering and challenging. Is it any different when the parent is a professional psychologist? What does it say when said child chooses to become a psychologist himself, with a Specialization in treating TS?  In this father/son presentation, Drs Jeff & Jeremy Lichtman will reflect on their respective experiences using both a personal and professional lens. Based on over 30 years of parenting, living, researching, & treating individuals with TS and their families, this discussion will focus on the following areas: socialization, education, treatment, and family. Participants will leave with insights and suggestions to help them on the journey of raising a child with TS.
